MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL i, w <br />FEBRUARY 25, 1987 <br />PAGE, TWO <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />It is the recommendation of Attorney Mark Karney and myself <br />that in this matter the City Council authorize the <br />following. <br />l) Refund to Susan Gale the interest she paid on the <br />assessment when she paid the assessment off in 1986, <br />namely, <br />2) Enter into an arrangement with Debra Yost whereby <br />she provides the City of Mounds View with a check <br />equal to the amount of the entire principle and <br />Interest due on the assessment• and that the City <br />provide her, at the same time, a check refunding <br />the amount of interest due on the assessment. Due <br />to County procedures for assessments, it is the only <br />feasible option available to the City for repaying <br />the interest as the County will not allow the City <br />to forgive the interest due on this account and <br />remove it from its records. Ms. Yost is agreeable <br />to this arrangement and has agreed to provide the <br />check immediately upon approval by the City Council. <br />DFP/mjs <br />Attachments: <br />L <br />
