MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION <br />RESOLUTION NO. 180-87 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNES0TA <br />RECOMMENDATION TO THE CITY COUNCIL REGARDING MOUNDS VIEW <br />PLANNING CASE NO. 201-87, REZONING REQUEST BY <br />JOHN W. COOK, 2935 HIGHWAY 10 FROM R-1 to R-3 <br />WHEREAS, John W. Cook has requested City approval <br />for a rezoning of the property located at 2935 Trunk Highway <br />10 from R-1 Single Family Residential. to R-3 Mediium Density <br />Residential; and <br />WHEREAS, the Hounds View Planning Commission reviewed <br />the requet that their February 18, 1907 Agenda Session and <br />determined the following, <br />1) The request is In compliance with the <br />Comprehensive Land Use Plan designation for <br />this property. <br />2) The property cannot be served by any future <br />extension of Knollwood Drive. <br />3) The property contains adequate land area for <br />purposes of developing up to six units of <br />residential housing within one building. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning <br />Commission recomends to the City Council that this property <br />be rezoned from R-1 Single Family to R-3 Medium Density <br />Residential. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mounds View Planning <br />Commission directs Staff to forward this resolution to the <br />City Council prior to the approval of the minutes. <br />Adopted this 4th day of March, 1987. <br />( SEAL) Cha,_ —_-- <br />�an <br />ATTEST: <br />Acting I'util[c Works%Commu:iity <br />Development Director <br />
