39.14 <br />M <br />Each <br />(2) No sign structure shall be attached or placed upon <br />any building in such a manner as to obstruct any fire escape, or <br />any window or door, nor shall any sign structure be attach_e_d_ to a <br />fire escape. <br />(3) No sign erected before the passage of this part shall <br />be rebuilt, altered, or removed to a new location without being <br />brought into compliance with the requirements of this part. <br />(4) No swinging sign shall hereafter be erected or hung <br />on or attached to any building within the Municipality, and every <br />much sign so erected hung, or attached prior to the passage of <br />this part which is deemed unsafe by the Building Inspector shall <br />be immediately removed by the owner thereof; or changed to con- <br />lform with the requirements of this part when so ordered by the <br />uffiino Inspector. <br />(5) [Vhere portions of a sign are subject to different <br />classification each portion shall meet the requirements of its <br />classification. <br />(6) Each sion requiring a permit shall have an identi- <br />fyi� number to be provided by the Inspector, which number shall <br />be posted on the exterior surface of the sign structure in a <br />location where such information will be readily visible after the <br />sign is constructed. <br />(7) All signs and s in structures shall be maintained in <br />a safe condition and in a state of good repair at all times. No <br />sign shall display matter that has been deemed _obscene by a court <br />of competent iurisdiction. <br />(8) Each sion shall be used and maintained only in the <br />manner permitted and subject to the conditions imposed at the <br />time the permit therefor was granted. <br />Subdivision 2 Additional Conditions. The following <br />additional conditions shall be observed: <br />General Conditions: <br />(a) No sign shall exceed thirty-five (35) feet <br />in height. <br />(b) Signs may advertise only businesses located on <br />premises. <br />(c) No sign shall have moving parts. <br />-� (d) No sign shall have blinking lights. <br />(2) Ground Signs. <br />(a) No ground sion shall approach at any point nearer <br />than three (3) feet to any building unless such sign is placed <br />parallel to the side of the building nor shall any suc sign be <br />
