Mounds View City Council <br />Regular Meeting <br />---------------------------- <br />Motion/Second: Hankner/Quick to schedule an <br />informational meeting for 7:05 PM on Monday, <br />April 13, 1987 regarding County Road I improvements. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley reported they have <br />received advance notice of the rule making from <br />the Department of Transportation relative to the <br />pipeline, and he has received a good deal of <br />response from many people. lie stated that any <br />responses to the document must be made in <br />triplicate by March 27, and he stated the City <br />would be willing to make the copies for the <br />residents. <br />March 9, 1987 <br />Page Six <br />------------- <br />Motion Carried <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley reported Staff has been <br />working with the property owners of the Stanley <br />Fisher addition, and Attorney Karney has reviewed <br />the proposed development agreement and he asked <br />for approval of the development agreement. <br />Motion/Second: Quick/Blanchard to authorize May6t & Clerk -Administrator <br />to enter into Development Agreement #86-77 for the <br />Stanley Fisher Addition. <br />5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carrie <br />Mayor Links asked that Staff make sure Marcella <br />Rybak initials the #10 which was added to Exhibit <br />2A. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley reviewed his memo of <br />March 6, 1987 to the City Council regarding hiring a <br />planning intern from Mankato State University to <br />assist in the planning area for six months. He <br />stated there are a number of projects pending in <br />the City, and an intern would be very helpful to <br />Staff. <br />Councilmember Hankner stated she would like to see <br />the other members of the Community Development staff <br />participate in the interview process, as the Council <br />has made a commitment to Staff along that line. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley replied the two staff <br />members involved do not have any planning background <br />or training, and he was not aware the Council had made <br />a promise to Staff that they could be involved in the <br />hiring process. <br />It was the concensus of the Council that they did want <br />Staff to participate in the interview process. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley pointed out there have been <br />other Staff members involved in the hiring of previous <br />
