Mounds View City Council I pp}} _l[ May 11, 1987 <br />Regular Meeting 1 �r 6� -Page-Five <br />------------------------------------ <br />�. motion against the moving of the pipe. lie added he <br />has notified the Court the City is ready to proceed <br />on the other issues. <br />Councilmember Quick asked that the Council be given <br />information for the next agenda session on the <br />advantages and disadvantages of placing the portable <br />building at Hillview Park, as that 'had not been <br />covered earlier in the evening. <br />Councilmember Blanchard had no report. <br />Councilmember Wuori had no report. <br />Mayor Linke stated there had been problems over the <br />weekend with flower vendors who had set uo along <br />Highway 10, and he asked Staff to check into it to <br />avoid future problems with vendors, specifically <br />flower and painting vendors. <br />Attorney Meyers stated the could possibly require <br />a public hearing before a permit is issued, and <br />he will check further into the ordinance. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley updated the Council on <br />the status of the pipeline safety act and the voting <br />on the bill. He added the NTSB has given the <br />impression they might be leaning more favorably <br />toward Mounds View in their report. He also reported <br />four sections of pipeline are being exposed in the <br />City now, in order to take readings, and if no <br />problems are found, they will rewrap the pipe and <br />rebury it. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley reported commercial fire <br />inspections have begun, and notices have been filed <br />against all the businesses that have been inspected. <br />He added they are negotiating with the Fire Department <br />to do the multi -family inspections for the summer, <br />until the new building inspector is up to speed. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley <br />been issued to Mid -American <br />clean up, and they have not <br />another notice will go out <br />reported a notice had <br />Auto 30 days ago to <br />responded as yet, and <br />now. <br />11.
