RESOLUTION NO. 2198 <br />i CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE 1987 BUDGET CALENDAR <br />WHEREAS, the City Charter prescribes the requirements <br />for a Budget Calendar under 7.04; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IS RESOLVED Lhat the Council adopts <br />the following calendar for preparation of the 1988 Budget: <br />Week <br />of July 6, 1987 <br />- Department heads first round budget <br />meetings with Finance Director <br />20 <br />July 1987 <br />summary <br />Staff of <br />ofdeparmentalsbudgets <br />first draft of <br />to Council <br />20 <br />July 1987 <br />- Staff submits review of adequacy of <br />license 6 permit fees to Council <br />20 <br />July 1987 <br />- Staff submits revenue estimates to <br />Council <br />Week <br />of July 20 <br />- Department heads second round <br />budget hearings with Clerk - <br />Administrator 6 Finance Director <br />03 <br />August 1987 <br />- Staff submits summary sheets of <br />second draft of departmental <br />budgets to Council <br />17 <br />August 1987 <br />- Staff submits utility budget and <br />rate recommendations to Council <br />08 <br />September 1987 <br />- Proposed Budget submitted to <br />Council <br />14 September 1987 - Budget Nearing <br />No later than <br />10 October 1987 - Council finalize budget and adopt <br />budget resolutions and tax levy <br />
