J <br />MOUNDS�/IEW <br />NON-ASSIGNA'�LE SPACE <br />(820 Sq. ft.) <br />A. Janitorial Storage Area (50 Sq. ft.) <br />This area will provide storage space for all building <br />supplies and equipment. <br />Entrance should be located in such a manner as to avoid <br />disturbance of public or staff. Preferably the area should bs <br />located near the boiler room. <br />The area should have hot and cold water. floor sink and floor <br />drain. <br />The area should be equipped with storage shelves and space <br />for (bulk) supplies. <br />S. Yard Storage (30 Sq. ft.) <br />A small room located at grade levels accessible from the <br />outside for storage of mower, snow blower, and other yard <br />equipment. The room must meet code requirements for storage of <br />equipment which needs gasoline for operation. <br />C. Mechanical (420 Sq. ft.) <br />This room will house HVAC equipment, the hot water heater, C <br />circuit boxy'etc. Access to the rear delivery entrance is <br />required. <br />D. Rear Delivery Entrance and Dock (20 Sq. it.) <br />Should provide direct access to the Workroom and Mechanical <br />room. It may also provide access to Elie Librarian's Office and <br />Staff room. <br />E. Restrooms <br />The restrooms should be as unobtrusive as possible but visual <br />control of entry is essential. They should be located so that <br />they may be easily accessible from the meeting room. <br />The materials on the floor and walls of the public restrooms <br />should be ceramic file, or similar hard glazed and easily <br />maintained surface. Each restroom should contain: required <br />plumbing fixtures, paper towel dispenser, floor drain, mirrors, <br />coat hooks. The women's restroom should provide for coin - <br />operated sanitary napkin dispenser and disposal unit. Changing <br />tables should be available in both restrooms. <br />26 <br />
