MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION <br />RESOLUTION NO. 188-87 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RECOMMENDATION TO THE CITY COUNCIL REGARDING HOUNDS VIEW PLANNING <br />CASE 208-67, GREG JOHNSON, 2865 TRUNK HIGHWAY 10 REZONING <br />FROM R1 SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL TO RO RESIDENTIAL OFFICE <br />WHEREAS, Gregory Johnson, 2865 Trunk Highway 10 has requested <br />approval of the rezoning of said property from R1 Single Family <br />Residential to RO Residential Office; and <br />WHEREAS, the rezoning request although not consistent with <br />the Comprehensive Plan i0 considered to be in the beat interest <br />of the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the rezoning is consistent with the future intent of <br />the City as it relates to uses of property along the corridor of <br />Trunk Highway 10; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has determined that the <br />rezoning request is in the best interest of the City. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning <br />Commission recommends amendment of the City's Comprehensive Land <br />Use Plan to designate this property as High Density Residential <br />and approve the rezoning of the property from R1 Single Family <br />Residential to RO Residential Office. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Hounds View Planning <br />Commission directs Staff to forward this resolution to the City <br />Council prior to approval of the minutes. <br />ATTEST: <br />(SEAL) <br />Adopted this 3rd day of June, 1987. <br />Chairman <br />Clerk -Administrator <br />
