CHAPTER 100 <br />INTOXICATING LIQUOR <br />100.01 Definitions. <br />Subdivision 1. For the purpose of the intoxicating <br />liquor act, a chapter., except where the context otherwise <br />requires, the terms defined in Minnesota Statutes 340.07, <br />Subdivision 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, <br />17 shall have the meanings given them. <br />Subdivision 2. Municipality, means the City of Mounds <br />View. <br />Subdivision 3. Cabaret. A cabaret, as the term is used <br />herein, shall mean a restaurant, night club or other place of <br />amusement where dancing is permitted incidentally, but is not <br />operated primarily as a business to provide dancing facilities <br />for a charge. <br />Subdivision 4. Public area. Public area, as the term is <br />used herein, shall mean all areas inside the exterior walls of a <br />restaurant, night club or other establishment which is open to <br />the general public for the sale, service or consumption of food <br />or liquor. <br />Subdivision 5. Minor. Minor means any person who has <br />not reached the age of 19 as of his last birthday. <br />Subdivision 6. Premises. Premises, as the term is <br />used herein, shall mean all buildings and structures as well as <br />all parking lots, driveways, landscaped areas, steps, passage- <br />ways, and vestibules located outside of said building or <br />structure. <br />Subdivision 7. Food. Food, as the term is used here, <br />shall mean a menu consisting of not less than three separate and <br />distinct entrees, complete with vegetable, salad, rolls or bread, <br />and selection of beverages. <br />100.02 Licenses. <br />Subdivision 1. License Required. No person, except <br />wholesalers or manufacturers to the extent authorized under State <br />license shall directly or indirectly deal in, sell, or keep for <br />sale any intoxicating liquor without first having received a <br />license to do so as provided in this chapter. Licenses shall be <br />of three kinds: "on -sale, "club", and "on -sale wine" licenses. <br />Subdivision 2. "On -Sale" Licenses. "On -sale" licenses <br />may be issued for the sale of intoxicating liquors in hotels, <br />clubs, restaurants and establishments for the sale of liquors <br />exclusively within the number authorized by this chapter. <br />
