December 10, 1987 <br />City of Mounds View <br />2401 Highway 10 <br />Mounds View, Minnesota 55432 <br />Dear City Manager: <br />DEC 1987 <br />RfQIVED <br />Qr/ 4F <br />MOUNDS TEW <br />We are pleased to announce that beginning with the December 30, <br />1987 issue of the Focus Newspaper, Post Publications will coordinate <br />the publishing of legal notices for the City of Mounds View. <br />The only visible change in the Focus Newspaper will be the switch <br />from the MSN logo to the POST logo located in the left corner <br />of the masthead. <br />The changeover from the Minnesota Suburban Newspaper Group <br />to Post Publications was brought about by the acquisition and sub- <br />sequent merger of Post and MSN by the Guy Gannett Publishing <br />Company of Portland, Maine. Because of the location of Post <br />in relation to the Focus, it was decided that Post Publications <br />should be responsible for the publication of the Focus Newspapers. <br />Your designation of the Focus Newspaper to be your official newspaper <br />;br the year 1988 will be most appreciated. <br />One of our highly qualified reporters is in frequent contact with <br />your city council; therefore we are familiar with the actions that <br />are taken by the City of Mounds View. <br />The new rate structure for legals effective December 30, 1987 <br />will be as follows: <br />1 Col. width 2 Col. width 3 Col. width <br />First insertion: 4A��ne 86.30 per line 94C per line <br />Subsequent insertion: 16C p r fi a 32� per line 48S per line <br />isgjl <br />We will provide, at no charge 2 notarized affidavits on each of <br />vour publications.
