Pauley <br />Clerk Administrator <br />City of Mounds View <br />2401 Highway 10 <br />Mounds View, MN 5511.2 <br />Re: Retention of Cable TV tapes of <br />Council Proceedings <br />Dear Don: <br />Relative to the issue of the retention of the tapes of the <br />City Council meetings, I would like to recommend the <br />following: <br />1. That the Council adopt an official policy relative <br />C to :etention and reuse of destruction of said tapes by <br />Resolution. <br />2. That included in that policy would be a provision <br />that the City will keep on hand said tapes for not less than <br />60 days after the original taping. <br />3. That a procedure be set up to allow viewing of the <br />tapes with the possibility of a charge for Staff time in <br />those situations where a member or members of the Staff are <br />required to spend time away from their regular duties. <br />4. The Resoluticn should contain the following <br />statement: <br />"The televised proceedings of the Mounds View City <br />Council are presented for the convenience and <br />information of the residents.
