Pa a Two <br />---•--------------------- Ci - 7-tU_ --------------------- - -------------------- <br />Clerk/Administrator-Pauley stated that if they run into <br />problems with the hearings lasting too long, they could <br />be rescheduled. <br />It was the concensus of the Council to leave the hear- <br />ings as scheduled for February 22. <br />Motion/Second: Hankner/Quick to approve the consent <br />agenda as presented. <br />4 ayes 0 nays <br />Motion Carried, <br />Clerk/Administrator. Pauley read the items on C e <br />consent agenda. <br />Police Chief Ramacher reported he would have detailed <br />7. Fourth Quartei-1 <br />yearly statics ready to present to the Council within <br />1987 Department <br />the next week, and he reviewed the crime statistics <br />Head Reports <br />for 1987 versus 1986 and 1985, and presented overhead <br />projections of the data. He reported that overall, <br />the crime rate is down over previous years. <br />Park Director Saarion reviewed the fourth quarter <br />activities of the Park, Recreation and Forestry <br />departments. She reported the fourth quarter is <br />usually quieter than the rest, due to the schools <br />.. <br />being tied up and not available for the City to use. <br />*aw <br />She also reviewed the year end summary from the <br />Forester and presented an overhead projection, showing <br />the tree loss for the year and the reasons why. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley reviewed the intent of <br />8. Consideration<- <br />proposed Resolution No. 2274, for the realignment of <br />of Resolution ,- <br />County Road H. <br />No. 2274 <br />Motion/Second: P.3nkner/Wuori to approve Resolution <br />No. 2274, fequesting legislative support for the <br />realigrunent of Old Highway 8, and waive the reading. <br />4 ayes 0 nays <br />Motion Carried <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley explained the proposed plan <br />has been in the works for many years, and it will be the <br />early 1990's before the actual work would be done, and <br />he also discussed the troposed county trail system that <br />is being proposed for that area. <br />Clerk/Administrat.or Pauley explained that during the 9. Authorization <br />1987 legislative session major revisions. were adopted to Purcha�� + <br />regarding election laws, and these changes have OPTECH IIIwd <br />necessitated increased capacity for counting ballots.
