APPENDIX "C" <br />ELIGIBILITY <br />District Statistics <br />-- There are 30 tax increment parcels within .the proposed tax <br />Increment district. <br />- 70%, or 21 parcels must be occupied by buildings. <br />- 21 parcels, or 70% are occupied by buildings. <br />-- Of the 21 parcels, 20% or 4 must be structurally substandard <br />requiring substantial renovation to be standard. <br />- 4 parcels, or 20% are blighted in the above form. <br />- Of the 21-vrcels, 30% or 6 must and have been found *n require <br />substantial .4novatlon or clr ,ranee in order tL remove such existing <br />conditions as; Incompatible uses or land use relationships, <br />overcrowding of buildings on the land, excessive dwelling unit <br />density, obsolete buildings not suitable for improvement or <br />conversion, or other identified hazards to the health, safety and <br />general well being of the community. <br />See Appendix "G" for designation of blight. <br />The properties designated as blighted will be encouraged to rehabiliate when - <br />financially feasible or may from time to time be acquired on a voluntary basis for - + <br />redevelopment assuming there are adenuste fund3 and tax increments. No <br />properties have been identified for definite acquisition at this time except the <br />excess highway taking. The plan may be amended to permit additional acquisitions, <br />but must proceed via a public hearing. <br />Appendix "C" - 1 <br />
