MEMO TO • Mayor and City Council
FROM: City Planner Herman
DATE: March 3, 1988
SUBJECT: SITE PLAN CHANGES FOR MOUNDS VIEW BUSINESS
PARK, BUILDING G
Attached you will find a letter from Tim Nelson explaining the
proposed changes in the site plan for Building G. As you know,
Everest Development is proposing to increase the square footage
of the building whict. therefore necessitates a reduction in
parking spaces of 76 spaces. If the expansion parking was put
into use at a future date the difference between the approved
plan from the proposed would be 150 spaces (763-613).
A second issue raised was the iroposed changes in landscaping.
The City ?orester has reviewed the site plan and has requested
additional information regarding the boulevard tree plantings. I
have told Tim Nelson that the Forester has requested a
cross-section drawing of the boulevard area which would show the
^, ponding and tree placement. I expect to receive that early next
iv week. The Forester is also in contact with the landscape
architect to discuss the species selection. Some changes may
occur in that area.
The City Engineer has reviewed the change in the ponding for the
site and has no problems with it. In fact the change from one to
three p9dds has increased the ponding capacity over the original
plan.
Also attached is d memo the Council previously received from me
relayinc what concerns the Planning Commission had after
reviewing the proposed changes.
KH/bac
Attachments
