fs MEMO TO: Mayor and City Council .
FROM: City Planner Herman
DATE: February 1, 1988
SUBJECT: EVEREST PROPOSED SITE REVISIONS
Tim Nelson, from Everest Development, and I presented the
proposed site plan changes to Building G at the January 20th
Planning Commission meeting. Issues addressed were the reduction
in parking, the reconfiguration of the ponds, and the potential
impact to the landscaping.
The Planning Coommission was very upset about the possible
removal of the boulevard trees along Woodale Drive. The City
Forester reviewed the proposal and felt there was adequate room
to plant boulevard trees adjacent to the ponding areas, although,
the plan he reviewed was a schematic and not the final site iy
plan. Tim Nelson will have the proposed landscape on the next
submittal. "¢
Some of the Planning Commission members expressed concerns about'
the reduction in parking stalls. They felt this reduction C
compromised the negotiation process the City had with Everest
during the initial stages of the projeet',s development review.
It was stated that the changes in parking seem arbitrary.
KH/bac
cc: Clerk -Administrator
