Input into the decision making process by officials and other citizens is encouraged. The Library or Library Board members may be contacted at the above address or phone number. Norman Vinnes, Director Ramsey County Public Library Library Board to Meet with Mounds View and Shoreview Councils The Library Board will meet with the Mounds View City Council on Monday, March 7th to discuss two potential library sites near Highway 10 and Long Lake Road. The meeting is scheduled for 8:00 P.M. in the City Hall, 2401 Highway 10. The Library Board will meet at 7:00 P.M. to discuss the architect's recommendations (see article below). On Monday, March 14th the Library Board will meet with the Shoreview City Council to discuss a community library site in that city. The meeting is scheduled for 7:00 P.M. in the City Hall, 4665 N. Victoria Street. The architect has examined a total of four sites on Highway 96 and 49 and his recommendations will be discussed. It is planned that the Library Board will work with the officials from the two cities and Commissioner McCarty of District 1 in preparing recommendations for the County Board. Those recommendations will include specific sites, building programs and costs, and bonding amounts needed. The recommendations will be submitted to the County Board in -early April of this year. Architect's Report Due March 4th Buetow and Associates, Inc. has examined potential community library sites in Mounds View and Shoreview to determine usable space, access, soil conditions, availability, etc. The report and recommendations will be submitted to the Library Administrative Office no later than Friday, March 4th. Copies will be distributed on that day to the Library Board meyberq, cities of Shoreview and Mounds View, and suburban County Commissioners. A copy will be available for examination by interested citizens at the Library Administrative Offices (address above). The architect's report will also discuss some options for expanding the Roseville Library site to the north of the present location.
