I have experience in bridge design, but also in construction, materials testing, <br /> roadways and other infrastructure projects. I was also involved in multiple groups while a college student including working for housing and <br /> intramural sports in leadership roles. I also volunteer as an election judge in Mounds View, but am looking for another way to get involved in <br /> the community. <br /> Please list any related work, volunteer and/or educational experiences that could help you in the role of commission member: <br /> As stated above, my experience as an engineer could be valuable to the commission. I do have a logical approach to problem solving that <br /> leads to asking appropriate questions to help drive conversation. My experiences with large programs like recreational sports and housing <br /> were impactful to my ability to work with teams to deliver for people. <br /> Please list any issues that may cause a conflict of interest between civic responsibility and your personal and/or professional interests: <br /> I don't have any conflicts that would overlap with Mounds View. My current work involves load rating bridges owned by MnDOT, which <br /> should not involve any city interactions. <br /> Briefly describe Mounds View's weaknesses: <br /> I believe Mounds View could benefit from accessibility to the community on County 10. The "draw" bringing people into the community <br /> seems to be limited and finding a way to better embrace community in that corridor would possible help <br /> Briefly describe Mounds View's strengths: <br /> My favorite part about Mounds View are the ties to the community itself. I enjoy seeing the parks and community spaces bringing people <br /> together. I'm also a fan of the community events that are put on such as National Night Out. <br /> What is your primary interest in serving on the commission(s)? <br /> My primary interest in serving would be finding a constructive way to contribute to the community.
