Mounds View City Counci11 <br />Regular Meeting J <br />Attorney Barney reported there was no new information <br />on the Amoco Oil case, and they have been waiting for <br />the Court's decision for over 30 days. <br />Councilmember Quick had no report. <br />Councilmember Blanchard had no report. <br />Councilmember Hankner reported she had 12 residents <br />at her home recently, to discuss the traffic issues <br />which had been brought up on March 14 for Woodlawn <br />Drive. She stated it had been decided that each and <br />every one of them would call the Police Department <br />each time there was a problem, and she presented a <br />petition from them, requesting additional street <br />lights for the area, and she requested the Public <br />Works and Police Departments decide the best <br />location for the placement of lights. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley explained the decision <br />would be made by NSP, based on the best access for <br />power sources. <br />Counciimember Wuori had no report. <br />Mayor Linke updated the Council on the Pinewood play- <br />ground contributions, and he also reminded everyone <br />of the appreciation dinner scheduled for April 9 at <br />the Bel Rae Ballro;m, and the May 7 clean-up day. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley reported the Council has <br />received a copy of the Senate property tax plan, <br />which will be discussed soon. <br />- ltccd <br />Bill FTlts, 8072 Long Lake lfoad, stal.cu i,e nao <br />in the area for 44 years, and after the current <br />rebuilding of Long Lake Road, he has noticed the water <br />has shifted from his side of the road to the other <br />side, as far as where it sits, and he asked why that <br />happened and where the water is going to go. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley explained Long Lake Rcad <br />is scheduled to be reconstructed during 1989-1990, <br />as it is part of the County's long range plan, and he <br />will mention it to the County engineer and ask for <br />an explanation. <br />Councilmember Hankner states she had read through the <br />March 28, 1988 <br />-- Page Eight---- <br />20.
