Mounds View City Council April 22, 1988 <br />Regular Meeting Page Eight <br />---------------------------------------------------------------------- -- <br />Motion/Second: Quick/Blanchard to grant a temporary S <br />occupancy permit for Everest Development at 5201 Program <br />Avenue. <br />4 ayes 0 nays Motion Tarried <br />Mayor Linke stated he wanted to emphasize the <br />seriousness of dumping of wastes, as discussed by <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley, and he asked that anyone <br />observing dumping by someone call the Police. <br />Kay Weisman stated she agreed with the comments made <br />regarding the disposal of hazard wastes and pollution <br />and she stated it would be helpful to have a list <br />available of what should not be dumped. She <br />mentioned a specific concern with anti -freeze being <br />dumped into the sewer system. <br />Mayor Links explained they had checked on anti -freeze <br />before, and it is not on the hazardous waste material <br />list. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley reviewed some of the items <br />that are on the list and he stated there would be an <br />article going in the next newsletter about it. <br />Dave Radamacher, 7421 Park View, stated he agreed that <br />it was a very important issue and people should be <br />reminded frequently. He also questioned whether water <br />from swimming pools could be put directly into the <br />system. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley replied that that is <br />considered acceptable. <br />Mayor Linke adjourned the <br />20.
