1 ` RESOLUTION NO. 2330 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION COMMENDING GERALD SIMON FOR 20 YEARS OF <br />SERVICE ON THE SPRING LAKE PARK, BLAINE, MOUNDS VIEW FIRE <br />DEPARTMENT <br />WHEREAS, Gerald Simon is retiring after 20 years of <br />dedicated and knowledgeable service on the Spring Lake <br />Park, Blaine, Mounds View Fire Department* and <br />WHEREAS, during his 20 years of service he served as <br />Captain responding out of Station i3; and <br />WHEREAS, Gerald Simon has won the respect and <br />gratitude of his fellow firefighters by his contributions as <br />a member and officer of the department, service as First Aid <br />Instructor, member of the State Fire Chief's Association, <br />officer in charge of Central Supply and his unselfish <br />dedication to the department in its overall goals. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council <br />�. of the City of Mounds View, on behalf of the residents of <br />the City of Mounds View, hereby commends and extends its <br />heartfelt gratitude for 20 years of dedicated and self- <br />sacrificing service on the Spring Lake Park, Blaine, Mounds <br />View Fire Department. <br />Adopted this 23 day of May, 1988. <br />ATTEST: <br />Mayor Linke <br />Councilmember Blanchard — Councilmember Hankner <br />Councilmember Quick Councilmember Wuori <br />(SEAL) <br />Clerk -Administrator Pauley <br />
