at, / <br />MEMO TO: Clerk -Administrator and City Council <br />FROM: Ric Minetor, Director of Public Works <br />DATE: June 7, 1988 <br />SUBJECT: WETLAND ALTERATION PERMIT - 7807 BONA ROAD <br />In the rear of the property at this address is a storm sewer <br />outlet which was previously installed by the City. Due to an <br />oversight, the outlet area was not protected from erosion by <br />rip -rap. Erosion has created sediment in the pipe opening and <br />could undermine the pipe to the future. Remedial work consisting <br />of minor excavation and rip -rap placement needs to be done. <br />Since this area is within a wetland, a wetland alteration permit <br />is necessary. This permit is requested in accordance with <br />Paragraph 3, "Installation or Maintenance of. Essential Services", <br />or Subdivision 1, Chapter 48.06. Staff would request that <br />Council set a public hearing for issuance of said permit. <br />It is recommended that this work be accomplished by City forces <br />as time permits. <br />RAM/BAC <br />
