lm�„ /o <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2338 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 23n1 APPFnVIyr mu0 <br />SUPPLEMENTARY AGREEMENT BETNdEN THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW AND <br />I.U.O.E. LOCAL NO. 49 FOR THE PERIOD JANUARY 1, 1988 <br />THROUGH DECEMBER 3.1, 1988 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View negotiated with <br />I-U.O.E. Local No. 49 a Supplementary Agreement addressing <br />the issue of standby duty; and <br />WHEREAS, during implementation of said policy <br />difficulties occurred requiring er.J amendment of the <br />original agreement; and <br />.,HEREAS, said amendment has been negotiated and <br />agreed to by both parties. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council <br />of Lhe City of Mounds View hereby ratifies and approves the <br />Amended Supplementary Agreement between the City of Mounds <br />View and I.U.O.E. Local No. 49 which contain the following <br />conditions: <br />C-1 STANDBY. An employee assigned standby d-ty for <br />a 7 day period shall be compensated at the rate <br />of 4 hours of ,vertime. Such standby pay shall <br />be in addition to other compensation which the <br />employee is entitled to under the MASTER AGREE- <br />MENT including Call Back Pay should the employee <br />return to the City to perform emergency work. <br />Employees may trade the Standby Duty to another <br />employee but must be on Standby Duty for a <br />minimum of five (5) times per year. <br />The employee who is assigned Standby Duty shall <br />be offered any overtime first that he has the <br />neces;-:y qualifications to perform and then any <br />other employee called will be called in <br />accordance with Article 10.2 of the Labor <br />Agreement. <br />In further consideration of Standby Duty, the <br />City shall provide each employee assigned <br />Standby Duty with one (1) floating holiday per <br />year. The floating holiday may be taken at a <br />time of the employee's choosing with the <br />approval of the employee's supervisor. <br />
