1988 <br />Mou-,ds View City Council May 23, Regular Meeting Page Eleven <br />-------------- ------------------ <br />--------------------------------------— <br />Police Chief Ramacher presented the statistics for 22. First Quarter, <br />January through March, 1088, noting there had been 1988 Dept. <br />no significant change. He added they had received Head Reports :. <br />delivery of the last of the three new squad cars <br />earlier in the day and should have them all on the <br />road soon. <br />He explained when F.dgewood reopens with sixth through <br />eighth grade students, it will have some impact on <br />the Police Department, but probably not as much as <br />when it had older students there. <br />Finance Director Brager reviewed the activities <br />of the Finance Department for the First quarter. He <br />explained the audit report would be late, due to a <br />medical leave in that department. He added they <br />have been very busy and are now working on the <br />long—range financial planning and putting together a <br />vehicle and equipment replacement list. <br />Park and Rec Director Saarion reviewed the winter <br />activity statistics and projects which were <br />accomplished. <br />Public Works Director Minetor reviewed the activities <br />of the Building, Public Works, and Sewer and Water <br />departments and their plans for the remainder of the <br />year. <br />Attorney Meyers had no report. <br />23. Report of <br />Attorney <br />Councilmember Hankner reportei she will be meeting <br />24. Reports of <br />with a group of interested people on May 25 regarding <br />Councilmembers <br />the proposed Environmental Quality.Task Force, for a <br />Councilmember <br />brainstorming session, and they hope to came up with a <br />Hankner <br />draft of how the task force is to be established and : <br />wh;t the responsibilities would be. She added that any- <br />one who is interested in it is welcome to attend. <br />Councilmember Hankner reported she would be meeting <br />with Staff and residents from the Silver View Pond <br />area the morning of May 27, and anyone interested was <br />elcome to attend. <br />Councilmember Hankner states she was impressed with <br />the organization of the Pinewood Playground group, <br />and they shoulu be congratulated for their success <br />and leadership. <br />
