Call to <br />y Order <br />Mayor Linke at 7:00 PM on Monday, June 27, 1988. <br />2. Pledge of <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was said. Allegiance <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Councilmembers Wuori, Quick. Hankner 3. Roll Call <br />And Mayo. <br />It was noted Councilmember Blanchard was abbent. <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Attorney Meyers, Clerk/Admini- <br />sirator pauley and City Planner Herman. <br />Gerry Nelson, project director with "Celebrate 90" 4. Presentation <br />of "Celebratioi <br />®� gave a slide presentation and introduced the audience 70" Video <br />1 to the concept of "Celebrate 90"He asked for . Program by <br />community support in this program, and advised a Gerry Nelson <br />video would be available soon. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley stated they would announce <br />in advance when it would be shown on cable tv. <br />Mayor Linke read the proclamation declaring June 19-2' <br />as Pinewood Playground Volunteer Appreciation Week an, <br />presented the proclamation to the representatives <br />present. <br />Mary Bradley thanked the Council and City and Sch')ol <br />District for their very good support. <br />After recessing, the Council reconvened at 7:31, at which <br />time Public Works Director Minetor was present. <br />Presentation <br />Senator Novak reviewed tax changes which were occurinq 5. and entation <br />due to recent legislative action and he stated the with Senator <br />picture looks good for Mounds View, Discussion <br />which should see a Novak and Rep" <br />40% increase in local government aid. resentatives <br />Knuth and VOFS <br />
