MEMO TO: CLERK -ADMINISTRATOR DON PAULF.Y <br />FROM: PUBLIC WORKS FOREMAN MICHAEL ULRICH <br />DATE: JUNE 27, 1988 <br />SUBJECT: ASSIGNED CITY VEHICLES <br />The following cities were surveyed to find out their policy <br />as far as City vehicle assignments to City staff. <br />Coon Rapids <br />Cars are assigned to Department Heads/Division Heads <br />who would do emergency response, i.e. Public Works, <br />Poli^e, Fire, Engineering <br />- Specific persons: Public Works Director - takes home car <br />City Engineer - takes car home <br />Foreman - takes car home if lives in <br />City limits <br />New Brighton <br />City Engineer is assigned car to take home as well as the <br />Police Chief. <br />Shoreview <br />w - No city cars go home. They have City cars available for <br />�,..- City business during the working hours. <br />Blaine <br />Puhlic Works Director has assigned City car to take home. <br />- <br />- Public Works On Call Superintendent has City vehicle to <br />take home on weekends for emergency call outs. <br />- Police Chief has assigned car to take home. <br />LiSUF�ada nt has car to take home and lives in City <br />limits. <br />Ramsey <br />- No cars assigned that go home. <br />Fridley <br />- The foreman (4) of them namely sewer, water, streets and <br />parks all have cars assigned to them to take home as well <br />as the weekend duty man who gets the car for 7 days. <br />St. Anthony <br />- Public Works Superintendent takes car home. <br />Brooklyn Park <br />- Department Heads can take car home. <br />�� - Canine officers can take car home. <br />
