RESOLUTION NO. 10110 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AUTHORIZING SEPARATION COMPENSATION FOR <br />PUBLIC WORKS MAINTENANCE WORKER DAVID "JOE" KEDING <br />WHEREAS, Public Works Maintenance Worker Joe Keding has resigned from the City of Mounds <br />View; his last day of employment was June 20, 2025; and <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with the Labor Agreement between the City of Mounds View and the <br />Public Works Collective Bargaining Unit Labor Agreement, and the Mounds View Personnel Manual, Mr. <br />Keding will receive a cash payout of his vacation hours and any compensatory time; and <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with the Labor Agreement and the Mounds View Personnel Manual, <br />an employee must complete two (2) years of service to convert 50% of unused sick leave towards the <br />Retirement Health Savings Plan. Mr. Keding began employment with the City January 29, 2024, and has <br />not completed two (2) years of service, therefore ineligible to convert 50% of unused sick leave towards <br />the Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Keding's balance of accrued and unused vacation is estimated at 105.22 hours <br />and his compensation balance is 0.00 hours; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Keding's rate of pay upon resignation is $38.23 per hour. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council approves separation <br />compensation to Public Works Maintenance Worker David "Joe" Keding consistent with the Labor <br />Agreement between the City of Mounds View and the Public Works Collective Bargaining Unit, and the <br />Mounds View Personnel Manual as follows: <br />Hours <br />Hourl rate <br />Payout <br />Vacation Hours <br />105.22 <br />$38.23 <br />$4Pa out <br />Compensator Hours <br />0.00 <br />$38.23 <br />$Pa out <br />Sick Leave <br />(Ineligible) <br />0.00 <br />$38.23 <br />$ HSP <br />Estimated Total Separation Compensation: <br />$4022.56 <br />Adopted this 23rd day of June, 2025. <br />, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Nyl ik nd, ity Administrator <br />(Sul) <br />
