RESOLUTION NO. 10093 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A CHICKEN-KEEPING LICENSE FOR <br /> JEREMY MANIAK, 5085 GREENWOOD DRIVE <br /> WHEREAS, the Mounds View City Code, Chapter 90.005, allows limited and <br /> controlled raising and keeping of chickens and/or ducks on properties zoned R-1, Single <br /> Family Residential; and <br /> WHEREAS, Jeremy Maniak, has submitted an application and the appropriate <br /> fees to keep and raise chickens on his property located at 5085 Greenwood Drive; and <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Maniak will be required to meet all requirements set forth in <br /> Chapter 90.005 of the Mounds View Code related to chicken-keeping; and <br /> WHEREAS, a site inspection will be conducted to assure Code requirements have <br /> been met; and <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with Chapter 90.005, initial applications shall be <br /> considered by the City Council after holding a public hearing, which was held April 28, <br /> 2025. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council does <br /> hereby approve a Chicken-Keeping License for Jeremy Maniak, 5085 Greenwood Drive, <br /> for no more than 12 chickens or 12 ducks or a combination of both. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the license may be revoked or denied by the <br /> City Council based on negligence, nuisance, or violation Chapter 90.005. <br /> BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the license will expire December 31, 2025, and <br /> shall be renewed annually. <br /> Adopted this 28t" day of April, 2025. <br /> Zach Lindstrom, Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Nyle Zikmund, City Administrator <br /> (SEAL) <br /> Ti,u_.,mounds View Vision <br /> A Thriving Desirable Community <br />
