RESOLUTION NO. 10114 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> APPROVING THE AGREEMENT FOR UNIFORMS, MATS AND TOWEL SERVICE <br /> FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT <br /> WHEREAS, as per the Public Works Collective Bargaining Unit Contract, the City <br /> is required to provide uniforms for the members of the Public Works Bargaining Unit; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the City annually budgets for uniforms, mats, and towels, in various <br /> operating budgets; and <br /> WHEREAS, the current uniform contract with Huebsch does not include a <br /> partnership with Omnia national purchasing; and <br /> WHEREAS, signing a new agreement with Cintas will allow the city to receive <br /> Omnia government purchasing discount of over 30% on mats, towels and uniforms. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br /> Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br /> 1. City Council approves a 3-year agreement with Cintas with a yearly <br /> increase based on consumer price index (CPI) or 3% whichever is lower, <br /> to provide uniforms, mats, towels to the Public Works Department and City <br /> Hall/Police. <br /> 2.
