RESOLUTION NO. 10125 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF CLOUD STORAGE AND LICENSING FOR (8) <br />4RE IN -CAR CAMERA SYSTEMS AND (4) VISTA BODY WORN CAMERAS <br />WHEREAS, staff has reviewed and approved the quotes from WatchGuard <br />(Motorola) on July 2"d, 2025 concerning purchasing cloud storage for the 4RE in -car <br />camera systems and the Vista body worn cameras, and; <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Police Department determined this is the best <br />value and fits the operational needs of the agency, and; <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Police Department maintains both body worn <br />camera and squad video footage, and; <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Police Department has planned and budgeted for <br />the replacement of the old body worn cameras and in -car camera systems, and; <br />WHEREAS, the current unlimited cloud storage cost is $895 for each (8) 4RE in - <br />car cameras per year and $695 for each (4) Vista body worn cameras per year, and; <br />WHEREAS, the M500 and 4RE in -car camera systems as well as the V700 and <br />the Vista body worn cameras are all compatible with the cloud, and; <br />WHEREAS, the video footage serves law enforcement and the public by <br />accurately documenting police encounters, preserving evidence, and increasing public <br />trust and transparency. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota to authorize the purchase of cloud storage <br />and licensing for (8) 4RE in -car camera systems and (4) Vista body worn cameras for <br />the renewal term of July 4, 2025-July 3, 2026 at an approximate cost of $9,940 from <br />Account 480-4200-3030 (2023 Public Safety Aid money). <br />Adopted this 14th day oily 2025. <br />ach Lindstrom, Mayor <br />ATTEST-., <br />44 Z J"/ <br />Nyl ik nd, City Administrator <br />(seal) <br />
