Anyone may inspect or view public data for any reason without charge. Fees <br /> may be charged only if the requesting person asks for a copy or electronic transmittal of <br /> the data. Fees will be charged according to the City's current fee schedule or based on <br /> actual cost and may not include time necessary to separate public from nonpublic data. A <br /> summary of fees generally associated with data requests is contained in Exhibit 2. <br /> 4.0 Access to Private and Confidential Data on Individuals. Information about individual <br /> persons is classified by law as public,private,or confidential. A list of the private and confidential <br /> information maintained by the City is contained in Appendix A, although such list is subject to the <br /> Act, as it may be amended, and therefore is not necessarily exhaustive. <br /> 4.1 Persons Entitled to Access. <br /> 4.1A Public information about an individual may be shown or given to anyone <br /> for any reason. <br /> 4.113 Private information about an individual may be shown or given to: <br /> 4.1131 The individual, but only once every six months, unless a dispute <br /> has arisen or additional data has been collected or created. <br /> 4.1B2 A person who has been given access by the express written consent <br /> of the data subject.
