The two police <br /> vehicles that are being replaced are a 2016 K9 squad SUV and a 2019 police squad <br /> SUV. <br /> 2026 Ford Police SUV vehicle (K9 Replacement Police SUV) <br /> • The Ford Police SUV vehicle is offered at $44,904.44 each, at state bid. The <br /> total for set up cost and additional equipment for this vehicle will be <br /> approximately $41,825.00 (460-4200-7040). One squad radar unit and one <br /> squad radio ($9,450.00/approx.) will be purchased out of forfeiture funds (225- <br /> 4200-1230). <br /> • The total purchasing cost, setup, and equipment for the squad will be <br /> approximately $86,729.44 (460-4200-7040.). The additional equipment cost for <br /> the squad radar unit and squad radio will be approximately $9,450.00 (Fund 225- <br /> 4200-1230). <br /> 2026 Dodge Police SUV vehicle <br /> • The Dodge Police SUV vehicle is offered at $40,913.00 each, at state bid. The <br /> total for set up cost and additional equipment for this vehicle will be <br /> approximately $ 37,625.00 (460-4200-7040). One radar unit and one squad <br /> radio ($9,450.00/approx.) will be purchased out of 2023 Public Safety Aid funds <br /> (480-4200-1230). <br /> • The total purchasing cost, setup, and equipment for the squad will be <br /> approximately $78,538.00 (460-4200-7040.). The additional equipment cost for <br /> the squad radar unit and the squad radio will be approximately $9,450.00 from <br /> 2023 Public Safety Aid funds (Fund 480-4200-1230). <br />
