RESOLUTION 25-EDA-379 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SINAN MUSIC OF SMC CONSTRUCTION, INC. TO <br />APPLY FOR A COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT AND REZONING ON <br />BEHALF OF THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View Economic Development Authority (the "EDA") is committed <br />to promoting economic growth, redevelopment, and strategic land use within the City of Mounds View; <br />and, <br />and, <br />WHEREAS, the EDA owns the lot at 2716 Hillview Road, Parcel ID 063023430030, zoned R-1 <br />WHEREAS, the property is legally described as: <br />LOT 112, SPRING LAKE PARK HILL VIEW; and <br />WHEREAS, a Comprehensive Plan Amendment and Rezoning of the property will better align the <br />property with the City's long-term development goals; and <br />WHEREAS, Sinan Music of SMC Construction, Inc. has expressed interest in working with the <br />EDA on the development of the aforementioned site, and with the preparation and submission of the <br />necessary applications to initiate the Comprehensive Plan Amendment and Rezoning process; and <br />WHEREAS, the EDA finds that authorizing Sinan Music to act on its behalf in this matter is in the <br />best interest of the city, and consistent with the EDA's mission to facilitate responsible development; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the EDA makes the following findings of fact related <br />to this request: <br />1. The EDA currently owns the property at 2716 Hillview Road, Parcel ID 063023430030. <br />Sinan Music of SMC Construction, Inc. is interested in working with the EDA on the development <br />of 2716 Hillview Road. <br />
