RESOLUTION NO. 10170 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />ORDERING THE ABATEMENT OF HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS AT <br />8391 SPRING LAKE ROAD IN THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />WHEREAS, City officials received complaints regarding improper/unlawful storage of <br />"junk" at 8391 Spring Lake Road in 2024 and prior; and <br />WHEREAS, based upon an investigation/inspection of the residence, it is <br />recommended that the hazard/junk be abated; <br />WHEREAS, staff issued a notice of violation citing Nuisance code violations and <br />served on to the property owner September 4, 2025 advising failure to comply by <br />September 23, 2025 would result in the City taking additional enforcement action; and <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, Section 463.161, and Mounds View City Code <br />91.003 Subd. C. 3 authorizes the governing body of any City or town to correct or remove <br />the hazardous conditions of any hazardous buildings or property. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council agrees <br />as follows: <br />1. The City of Mounds View finds that the property at 8391 Spring Lake Road in the <br />City of Mounds View is in violation of Nuisance Code Section 91.002 and 91.003 <br />Subd. C.3 — outside piling/storage of junk. <br />2. The hazardous condition at the foregoing address constitutes a public nuisance <br />within the meaning of Minnesota Statutes. <br />3.
