MOUNl-DVI <br /> Item No: 08H <br /> Meeting Date: November 10, 2025 <br /> Type of Business: Council Business <br /> City Administrator Review: <br /> City or Mounds View Staff Report <br /> To: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br /> From: Nyle Zikmund, City Administrator <br /> Item Title/Subject: Resolution 10167, Resolution Approving Mounds View Liquor <br /> License Renewals <br /> Introduction <br /> The City of Mounds View issued liquor licenses for the subject businesses effective January <br /> 1 , 2025, and their renewals are before the City Council for consideration, as they will expire <br /> December 31, 2025. <br /> • On-Sale Intoxicating Liquor/Sunday Sales/Outdoor Consumption License <br /> Renewal for The Mermaid, located at 2200 Mounds View Blvd. <br /> • On-Sale Intoxicating Liquor/Sunday Sales/Outdoor Consumption License <br /> Renewal for Moe's American Grill, 2400 Mounds View Blvd. <br /> • On-Sale Intoxicating Liquor/Sunday Sales License Renewal for AMC Mounds <br /> View 15 Theater located at 2430 Mounds View Blvd. <br /> • Off-Sale Intoxicating Liquor License for Merwin Liquor, 2577 Mounds View Blvd. <br /> • Off-Sale 3.2% Malt Liquor Off-Sale License for Speedway #4264, 2640 County <br /> Road <br /> • Off-Sale Intoxicating Liquor License for Savilo Liquor, 2345 County Road H2 <br /> Discussion <br /> All applicants have submitted their city liquor license application materials and the <br /> applicable fees with the exception of Savilo Liquor. The applicant is aware that we need <br /> a current Certificate of Liquor Liability. <br /> Please note that Dos Hermanos is selling their business, hopefully sometime this month <br /> so they are not renewing their liquor and restaurant licenses for 2026. <br /> The following investigations and inspections were conducted to determine whether <br /> there is cause for the City to consider denial of any of the above referenced liquor <br /> license applications: <br /> Utility Billing Inquiry- No delinquent LIB accounts at this time. Third quarter bills are <br /> due on November 18tn <br />
