Item No: 8J �,�T Meeting Date: November 10, 2025 MOt-NDS VIE Type of Business: CB Administrator Review: City of Mounds View Staff Report To: Honorable Mayor and City Council From: Don Peterson, Director of Public Works/Parks and Recreation Item Title/Subject: Resolution 10172, Approving Change Order #2 for the Silver View Storm Water Pond Project Introduction: City Council approved Resolution 9996 on October 28, 2024, authorizing ACM LLC to perform the Silver View Park Storm Water Pond Project. Background/Discussion: The contractor entered the final phase of the project to include punch list items and warranty work, as of September 2025, and any project close out documentation. IMPORTANT: This project did not begin immediately because of delayed communication from RCWD to the City regarding the outcome of the grant money. On October 31, 2025, Staff notified ACM LLC that unless a change order was submitted requesting an extension to the contract, the contract end date is November 28, 2025, and the necessary steps to close out the project will be required. ACM LLC submitted Change Order #2 on November 4, 2025, requesting that the contract end date be extended from November 28, 2025, to February 15, 2026. Strategic Plan Strategy/Goal: Maintain and Plan for Infrastructure Improvements. Ensure Clean Water and Maintenance. Financial Impact: No financial Impact to the 2025 Budget: Funds for project close out will need to be transferred to the 2026 budget. Recommendation: Staff recommends the City Council approve Resolution 10172 authorizing Change Order #2 to adjust the contract close-out date to February 15, 2026, for the Silver View Park Storm Water Pond Project.
