RESOLUTION 10176 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A BOSS SNOWRATOR MAG 48" <br />WITH IMPLEMENTS <br />WHEREAS, one of the many responsibilities of Public Works is snow and ice <br />removal on sidewalks located in all parks to include the recent addition of Tribute Park, <br />wells, treatment plants, and facilities; and <br />WHEREAS, sidewalk footage has increased with the implementation of the various <br />projects causing a need for a new sidewalk machine to improve safety, assist in a more <br />efficient way to clear snow and ice, and to aid in the benefit of less salt use; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff has obtained a quote for new Boss Snowrator Mag 48" with <br />broom and blower implements from the State bid CPV Sourcewell approved vendor list, <br />Crysteel of Fridley MN, for $32,658.00 which includes shipping. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds <br />View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br />1. Staff is authorized to purchase a Boss Snowrator Mag 48" with blower and <br />broom implements for $32,658.00 which includes shipping, from Crysteel of <br />Fridley, MN to be funded from the 2025 fall auction proceeds of $43,458.04, for <br />this purchase is not included in the 2025 budget, Vehicle and Equipment fund, <br />of 460-4470-7030. <br />2.
