INTERMITTENT LEAD WORKER <br />30.1 Under certain circumstances, the EMPLOYER may determine the need for an <br />Intermittent Lead Worker to oversee a work crew. This determination will be made at the <br />sole discretion of the EMPLOYER, as recommended by the Foreman and approved by <br />the Superintendent or Department Head, based on the complexity of a task, the number <br />of workers involved, the experience level of the workers assigned, or a combination of <br />these factors. The determination of the EMPLOYER is final and not grievable. <br />30.2 The EMPLOYER will maintain a list for those EMPLOYEES who are to be considered <br />for Intermittent Lead Worker assignments. Selections for Intermittent Lead Workers will <br />be made from this list in accordance with the Foreman's determination of the best <br />qualifications as approved by the Superintendent or Department Head. There will be no <br />attempt to equalize distribution of Intermittent Lead Worker selections. <br />13 <br />
