They would like to renew their agreement with the City of Mounds <br />View for 2026. <br /> <br />Discussion: <br />The unit rates reflect an increase of $1.50 per hour and 50 cents per page and a base rate <br />increase of 3.5 percent. The contract addendum rates are as follows: <br /> <br />2024 Rates <br />Base Rate: $167 for any meeting up to one hour of meeting time plus $39.50 for each <br />30 minutes following the first one; or <br />Unit Rate: $51.75 for the first hour of meeting time plus $34.50 for every hour after the <br />first one plus $15.75 for each page of draft minutes; <br />2025 Rates <br />Base Rate: $172 for any meeting up to one hour (billable time) plus $40.50 for each <br />thirty minutes following the first one hour; or <br />Unit Rate: $53.25 for the first hour of meeting time and $35.50 for every hour after the <br />first hour plus $16.25 for each page of draft minutes; <br />Proposed 2026 Rates <br />Base Rate: $178 for any meeting up to one hour (billable time) plus $41.50 for each <br />thirty minutes following the first one hour, or <br />Unit Rate: $54.75 for the first hour of meeting time and $37.00 for every hour after the <br />first hour plus $16.75 for each page of draft minutes; <br />One hour minimum, highest rate prevailing. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />Given the City’s satisfaction with Minute Maker Secretarial’s performance, Staff is <br />recommending approval of the contract addendum dated December 31, 2025, and adoption <br />of attached Resolution 10185. <br /> <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br /> <br /> <br />_______________________ <br />Nyle Zikmund <br />City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />
