Item 05A <br />January 5, 2026 <br />Page Two <br />There is an increase for publication in the Twin Cities Pioneer Press from $7.70 to $9.12 per <br />column, inch and for The Life from $7.75 to $8.00 per column inch. There is an increase from <br />$7.77 to $8.31 per column inch for the Shoreview Press. For 2025 the City Council selected <br />the Pioneer Press as the City's official City Newspaper and the Shoreview Press as the City's <br />secondary newspaper. <br />The attached resolution also appoints the treasurer consistent with Section 6.04 of the City <br />Charter. The resolution lists the city job positions authorized to conduct banking and <br />investment business on behalf of the City. There was a minor change from 2025 for <br />secondary depositories.
