The City of Mounds View takes great pride in its parks and recreation facilities_ The <br />parks, natural areas, and Community Center enhance the quality of life for Mounds <br />View residents. <br />Residents can choose to take a leisurely walk on the miles of trails, participate in <br />organized recreational activities, or explore the playgrounds. Through the parks and <br />recreation system, residents can stay active and healthy at any stage of their lives. <br />Mounds View Community Center <br />5394 Edgewood Drive <br />The Mounds View Community Center <br />is the hub for indoor activities and <br />community meeting space. Amenities <br />include an event banquet center, double <br />gymnasium, meeting rooms, exercise <br />room, commons area and free WiFi. <br />Ardan Park B307 Long Lake Road <br />Ardan Park is a small park located along <br />Long Lake Road. Ardan Park has a <br />short trail. A few benches along the trail <br />allow you to stop and take in the natural <br />setting_ Ardan Park is also home to a <br />Ramsey County compost site. <br />City Hall Park 2401 County Hwy.10 <br />City Hall Park is home to the City's annual <br />Festival in the Park in August. It consists of <br />a lighted softball field and youth baseball <br />fields for children of various ages. The <br />park has sand volleyball courts, 3 picnic <br />shelters, and a playground. <br />Grenheld Park 2335 Knoll Drive <br />Greenfield Park is host to Mark Wisser <br />Field, an official size_ baseball diamond <br />with electronic scoreboard and batting <br />cage. The large playground and tennis <br />courts are very popular in the community. <br />A nature trail connects to Oakwood Park. <br />Groveland Park 2B15 Ardan Avenue <br />Groveland Park is a nice shady area for <br />smaller picnics, tennis and active play <br />on the playground. This facility boasts a <br />ball field and a park building with a ,snap <br />kitchenette. <br />Hillview Park 7901 Green Wood Dfi <br />Hillview Park offers a variety of recreation <br />activities including a playground and ball <br />field. The park building is another great <br />rental opportunity for family functions <br />and has a small kitchenette. During the <br />winter months residents can skate at the <br />lighted hockey or pleasure rinks. <br />Lakeside Park 7840 Pleasant View Drive <br />Lakeside Lions Park is jointly owned and <br />operated with the City of Spring Lake <br />Park. With picnic shelters, a gazebo, <br />fishing pier and walking trails, this 11- <br />acre park is a favorite among residents. <br />Lambert Park 5324 Jackson Drive <br />Lambert Park is always active with <br />baseball, softball, soccer, and a <br />playground. The park building is a great <br />place to meet for picnics and family <br />gatherings as well as lighted hockey and <br />pleasure rinks in the winter months. <br />Oakwood Park 5590 Quincy Street <br />Oakwood Park hosts soccer and lacrosse <br />fields. It has a small playground and a <br />nature trail connecting to Greenfield Park. <br />Random Park 5214 Long Lake Road <br />Random Park is commonly used by <br />families with young children. The toddler <br />playground and swings keep little ones <br />busy.The shelter. building was the former <br />City golf course clubhouse and is used for <br />a variety of functions including birthday <br />parties, baby showers, and meetings. <br />—iver view Pads 2700 Count Road I <br />Silver View Park is Mounds View's largest <br />City park Amenities include a building <br />with an attached large picnic shelter, <br />playground, disc golf course, horseshoe <br />pits, ball fields, basketball court, sand <br />volleyball courts, soccer field, and sliding <br />hill. The meandering trail around the pond <br />connects to City sidewalks and other <br />trails. <br />Woodcrest Park 2752 Woodcrest Drive <br />This small park offer a playground and <br />short nature trail. <br />
