Resolution No. 10190 <br />Page 2 <br />WHEREAS, since the execution of the Seventh Amended JPA, the Cities of Maplewood <br />and White Bear Lake have withdrawn from RCVCET; <br />WHEREAS, this agreement shall constitute the Eighth Amended JPA. <br />WHEREAS, the RCVCET was formed for the purpose of enforcing controlled substance <br />laws and investigating and prosecuting gang and violent crimes, especially felonies that <br />have likelihood of being related to the distribution of narcotics and/or other cases that <br />have an impact on all parties; <br />WHEREAS, legal council from each participating city and Ramsey County have all <br />reviewed and approved this agreement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota to approve the attached Ramsey County <br />Violent Crime Enforcement Team (VCET) Joint Powers Agreement (JPA). <br />Adopted this 12th day of January 2026. <br />L ndss r�Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Nyle ikmu , City Administrator <br />(seal) <br />
