RESOLUTION NO.10196 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE APPLICATION OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />PROFESSIONAL PROPERTIES, LLC FOR RAMSEY COUNTY <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDING <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View values and supports local businesses and organizations that <br />contribute to the economic vitality, community well-being, and quality of life within the city; and <br />WHEREAS, Mounds View Professional Properties, LLC, located at 2408 Mounds View Boulevard, <br />Mounds View, provides important services to residents and families in the community; and <br />WHEREAS, Mounds View Professional Properties, LLC intends to apply for funding through the <br />Ramsey County Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program to complete necessary renovations <br />and improvements to their facility; and <br />WHEREAS, the proposed project includes capital improvements such as the installation of a new <br />roof, replacement of HVAC units, and construction of a toddler playground, all of which will enhance the <br />safety, functionality, and accessibility of the organization's building and grounds; and <br />WHEREAS, these improvements will support the renovation of the property to serve as a program <br />center, staff offices, and child development; and <br />WHEREAS, these improvements will also support the organization's ability to continue providing <br />high -quality services to Mounds View residents and will contribute positively to the community's <br />development goals; and <br />WHEREAS, the organization's Board of Directors has formally approved a resolution of support for <br />the proposed project and grant application; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View recognizes the value of the Ramsey County CDBG Program <br />in strengthening community infrastructure and supporting local service providers. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Mounds View <br />hereby expresses its support for Mounds View Professional Properties, LLC, in its application for Ramsey <br />County CDBG funding for facility renovations at 2408 Mounds View Boulevard. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City encourages Ramsey County to give full and favorable <br />consideration to this application, recognizing the positive impact the proposed improvements will have on <br />the Mounds View community. <br />Adopted this 12" day of January, 2026 <br />ATTEST: <br />(SEAL) <br />
