RESOLUTION NO. 10207 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />APPOINTING CHAIR FOR THE PARKS, RECREATION AND FORESTRY <br />COMMISSION FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR OF 2026 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View Municipal Code, Section 33.060 establishes <br />the Parks, Recreation and Forestry Commission; and <br />WHEREAS, the Commission makes recommendations to the City Council as it <br />relates to all City Parks for Capital Improvements, maintenance and recreation activities; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View Municipal Code, Section 33.061 states that <br />based upon the recommendation of the Parks, Recreation and Forestry Commission, the <br />City Council, shall appoint a Chairperson; and <br />WHEREAS, at the January 22, 2026 meeting, the Commission recommended <br />Commissioner Gerald Arel be appointed as Chair for 2026. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council <br />hereby appoints Commissioner Gerald Arel as Chair of the Mounds View Parks, <br />Recreation and Forestry Commission, for the year 2026. <br />Adopted this 9th day of February, 2026 <br />ATTEST: <br />(seal) <br />�*c`h Lindstr , Mayor <br />Nyl ikm d, City Administrator <br />The Mounds View Vision <br />A Thriving Desirable Community <br />
