Mounds View EDA January 12, 2026 <br />Regular Meeting Page 2 <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />7. EDA BUSINESS <br /> <br />A. EDA Resolution 26-EDA-380, Electing and Appointing Officers to the Mounds <br />View Economic Development Authority (EDA). <br /> <br />Assistant City Administrator Beeman requested the EDA elect and appoint officers to the EDA for <br />2026. <br /> <br />President Meehlhause reported the Acting Mayor has served as the President of the EDA. He asked <br />if Commissioner Gunn was willing to serve as the EDA President for 2026. <br /> <br />Commissioner Gunn stated she was willing to serve as the EDA President. <br /> <br />Commissioner Clark volunteered to serve as the Vice Chair of the EDA. <br /> <br />Commissioner Lindstrom volunteered to serve as the EDA Treasurer. <br /> <br />Commissioner Smith volunteered to serve as the Secretary of the EDA. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Lindstrom/Clark. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 26-EDA- <br />380, Electing and Appointing Officers to the Mounds View Economic Development Authority <br />(EDA) as discussed. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />8. REPORTS <br /> <br />Assistant City Administrator Beeman stated in February the EDA will be reviewing four <br />Resolutions that would address LAHA funding and two properties that were for sale. He noted the <br />EDA would also have to discuss the forgivable loan program. <br /> <br />9. NEXT EDA MEETING: Monday, January 26, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />10.
