RESOLUTION NO. 10207 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> APPOINTING CHAIR FOR THE PARKS, RECREATION AND FORESTRY <br /> COMMISSION FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR OF 2026 <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View Municipal Code, Section 33.060 establishes <br /> the Parks, Recreation and Forestry Commission; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Commission makes recommendations to the City Council as it <br /> relates to all City Parks for Capital Improvements, maintenance and recreation activities; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View Municipal Code, Section 33.061states that <br /> based upon the recommendation of the Parks, Recreation and Forestry Commission, the <br /> City Council, shall appoint a Chairperson; and <br /> WHEREAS, at the January 22, 2026 meeting, the Commission recommended <br /> Commissioner Gerald Arel be appointed as Chair for 2026. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council <br /> hereby appoints Commissioner Gerald Arel as Chair of the Mounds View Parks, <br /> Recreation and Forestry Commission, for the year 2026. <br /> Adopted this 9t" day of February, 2026 <br /> Zach Lindstrom, Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Nyle Zikmund, City Administrator <br /> (seal) <br /> The Mounds View Vision <br /> A Thriving Desirable Community <br />
