Narrative <br /> <br />Tubman would like to share information regarding our legal advocacy services and broader agency services provided to victim - <br />survivors of relationship violence within your community in the last year, as well as highlight a client story which reflects the <br />challenges and fears that many victim-survivors face when pursuing important steps for their safety. <br /> <br />The numbers above include data around legal advocacy services provided on civil protective orders and criminal cases in 2025 as <br />well as ongoing client participation, safety planning, and calls to our law enforcement intervention line. It also outlines t he total <br />number of unique clients served and the total number of advocacy services provided. As shown above, Mounds View legal <br />advocacy clients received an average of 6 services each. <br /> <br />Tubman legal advocates continue to work closely with victim -survivors within the city of Mounds View to help them navigate the <br />civil and criminal court systems and provide ongoing support and resources. In domestic -related criminal cases, we continue to <br />collaborate with your city prosecutor, Katrina Joseph, and the Mounds View Police Department to ensure that the victim -survivor <br />can participate in and have their voice heard throughout the process. We also continue to offer support with drafting and fil ing civil <br />Order for Protection paperwork and assisting clients through that court process. Unfortunately, lengthy court time frames con tinue <br />to be an ongoing challenge and barrier for victim-survivors to be able to move forward quickly and safely with their liv es. <br /> <br />In addition, Mounds View clients have utilized additional Tubman resources, including our attorney services, shelter, lease <br />breaking and housing support options, support groups, and our Freedom Fund financial assistance program.
