<br />2025 MVPD Annual Report <br /> <br /> Page 2 <br /> <br />5. Chief Zender presented to the North Metro Chamber of Commerce group. <br />6. Attend the Abiding Savior Fall Festival and the Cross of Glory Lutheran Church <br />for the Faith in Blue events. <br />7. MVPD conducted their Biennial Awards banquet. <br />8. Officers participated in the Justin Morneau Coat Drive. <br />9. Officers attended and participated in the Fitness Court Ribbon Cutting event as <br />well as the Battle of the Badges with SBM Fire. <br />10. MVPD participated in the Pink Patch Campaign. <br />11. MVPD participated in the Tree Lighting Event and attended the Community Meal <br /> <br />Goal C: Network with other communities and organizations <br /> <br />1. Continued partnership with the Mounds View Police Foundation. <br />2. Continued partnership with the Ramsey County Attorney’s Office with <br />Collaborative Sexual Assault Reform. <br />3. NRO continued to work with Northeast Youth and Family Services to provide <br />mental health consulting and community support services. <br />4. Chief Zender attended the MN Chiefs Regional Leaders meetings as well as the <br />Ramsey County Chiefs of Police Association meetings. <br />5. Officers completed defensive tactics training. <br />6. Officers attended the TZD Conference. <br />7. Officers attended several leadership and instructor courses. <br />8. Officers completed the handgun qualifications and training courses. <br />9. Officers attended a training course in responding to a person who is experiencing <br />a mental health crisis. <br />10. Officers completed their basic first aid, CPR, and AED training <br />11. Officers participated in scenario-based training. <br />12. Chief Zender, DC Hellpap, and other officers participated in Ramsey County wide <br />active shooter training. <br />13. Officer Aase and K9 Brandi completed their TAC 21 training to include <br />apprehension and tracking as well as narcotics training making them a dual <br />purpose K9 Team. <br />14. Interviews were conducted for the new K9 handler. <br />15. MVPD had their annual department meeting which included mental health <br />training and a legal updates course. <br />16. Chief Zender participated in a leadership assessment. <br /> <br />Goal D: Expand on New Americans Academy and Pre-Party for Night to Unite, as well <br />as ID & creating regular meetings with Neighborhood Captains program <br /> <br />1. Officers participated in the Heroes and Helpers and assisted with the Santa <br />Parade with SBM Fire. <br />2. Chief Zender continues to update the MVPD safety notification system. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
