RESOLUTION NO. 10229 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING SEPARATION COMPENSATION FOR <br />LUANN O'CONNELL, PART TIME RECEPTIONIST <br />WHEREAS, Luann O'Connell has resigned as Part Time Receptionist for the City <br />of Mounds View; her last day of employment was March 19, 2026; and <br />WHEREAS, Mounds View Personnel Policy 5.03 provides for payout of unused <br />vacation, sick and compensatory time; and <br />WHEREAS, Ms. O'Connell had an estimated balance of accrued and unused <br />vacation of 16.09 hours, compensatory time of 0.00 hours, and an estimated sick leave <br />balance of 1.47 hours which would payout at 50%; and <br />WHEREAS, Ms. O'Connell was being compensated at $27.75 per hour upon her <br />resignation. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council <br />approves separation compensation to Luann O'Connell consistent with Section 5.03 of <br />the Mounds View Personnel Manual as follows: <br />Hours <br />Hourly rate <br />Payout <br />Vacation Hours <br />16.09 <br />$27.75 <br />$446.50 Cash Payout <br />Comp Hours <br />0.00 <br />$27.75 <br />$ 0.00 Cash Payout <br />50% Sick Leave <br />1.47/50%=0.74 <br />0.74 <br />$27.75 <br />$ 20.54 Cash Payout <br />Total Estimated Separation Compensation: <br />$467.04 <br />Adopted this 23rd day of March, 2026. <br />ndstrom, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Nyle 4Kmg1A, City Administrator <br />(seal) <br />
