r <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> • FESTIVAL COMMITTEE MEETING <br /> MINUTES <br /> Tuesday, June 10, 1997 <br /> CALL TO ORDER: CO-Chair Theresa Cermak called the meeting to order. <br /> ROLL CALL: Members present included Amy Hodges, Don Hodges, Eileen Saldana, <br /> Peter Severson, Carol Johnson, Theresa Cermak, Stephanie Kirchmaier and <br /> Kathy Harrer. Staff present included Mary Johnson and Mary Saarion. <br /> APPROVAL OF <br /> MINUTES: Amy Hodges made a motion seconded by Kathy Harrer to approve the <br /> minutes of May 20, 1997. Motion passed unanimously. <br /> APPROVAL OF <br /> BUDGET T/D: There was concensus to approve the budget to date. <br /> • FACILITY <br /> NEEDS/EQUIP: Tabulation was made regarding the number of tables that are needed for <br /> festival activities. 50 tables are needed. There are approximately 6 tables <br /> available from City Hall and 8 tables from Bel Rae. Arrangements for <br /> other tables will be necessary. Don and Amy Hodges will see about tables <br /> from MN Rentall. <br /> Food Booth- A suggestion was made to move the food booth location <br /> from the picnic shelter to the Police garage. This would fulfill the need for <br /> roof and floor for food booths as well as provide better electrical power for <br /> food booth equipment. In exchange, the bingo group would meet under <br /> the picnic shelter. This would eliminate the need for a tent, and players <br /> could use the picnic tables. <br /> Large, long extension cords will be needed for the food booth area. <br /> Currently four booths need power for a warmer for pizza, cooler for ice <br /> cream and one ice maker and 2 coffee pots. <br /> BUTTONS: Kathy Harrer is finishing the coupons for the buttons. The buttons are <br /> expected to be done by next week. <br /> • Dan Hall reported that the Street Dance has been cancelled. He stated that <br />
