• Director Saarion reported that she had prepared and submitted a request to <br /> the Mounds View Lion's Club for sponsorship of a summer family <br /> entertainment in the park program - a 6 week program that would offer <br /> family entertainment one a week at City Hall Park. The Lion's did not <br /> choose to fund this program. Director Saarion has forwarded the <br /> sponsorship request to Medtronics Corporation. Spring Lake Park Lion's <br /> Club is also an potential funding sponsor. <br /> NEXT MTG.: Because both November and December meetings fall on or near holidays, <br /> the meetings have been combined to a single meeting to be held Thursday, <br /> December 4 meeting at City Hall at 6:30 p.m. <br /> ADJOURNMENT: Commissioner Long made a motion seconded by Commissioner Stevenson <br /> to adjourn the meeting.
